The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by vineyards and lemon trees. You can take peaceful morning walks under the oak trees accompanied by cows, horses, and even a donkey. The accommodation is comfortable and the rooms are pristine. The breakfast is delicious and well-prepared. There is also a swimming pool just outside your doorstep for a refreshing dip.

Our family had an incredible time exploring the wineries in Paarl, especially the charming Rhebokskloof Estate and the renowned Nederburg Wines. These places were not only picturesque but also offered fantastic activities for all ages. The kids had a blast learning about wine-making and even got to stomp grapes! The staff at both estates were welcoming and friendly, ensuring a memorable experience for our entire family. We highly recommend including these visits in your itinerary when staying at this gem of a guest house.
For dads, it would be great to have a small play area or outdoor games available for the kids to enjoy while relaxing at the guest house.

We went to Rhebokskloof Estate and Nederburg Wines and OMG, the wine tasting was lit! We had the best time chilling with our friends, sipping on delicious wine and enjoying the vibes. It was so awesome to have these activities right on our doorstep.
The only thing we wished for was a bit more nightlife around the area. We love partying and would have loved to have some cool clubs or bars nearby to keep the party going after a day of wine tasting.

The location of this guest house is simply stunning, surrounded by distant mountains and set in beautiful and tranquil surroundings. The rooms are tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, and the beds are super comfortable. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is nutritious and delicious. There is also a pizzeria nearby, perfect for dinner and drinks.
It is a bit inconvenient having to drive into town for finer dining options.

The beautiful vineyard and serene surroundings provided a perfect setting for a relaxing Easter getaway. Our suite overlooking the dam was clean, comfortable, and offered a stunning view. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fruits, yogurt, and homemade granola. The friendly staff, especially the manager, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They even allowed us to stay after check-out, so we could soak up the sun by the pool. We wished we could have stayed longer!
Encountering a security guard who decided to sit on our outdoor furniture and refused to leave when we wanted to use it in the evening. However, the hotel staff promptly addressed the issue and resolved it.

The view from the room was breathtaking, with a serene pond and farm animals grazing in the gardens. The location was also perfect, with convenient access to nearby attractions and activities. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious, prepared fresh every day and enjoyed on a beautiful terrace with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
There were some negative aspects of our stay. This should have been addressed and resolved promptly, but instead, it took multiple complaints and late-night interventions to finally resolve the issue.

The wine farm was so big, I got lost on my way to breakfast! The room had a gorgeous terrace with mountain views. , loved the informative staff.
Absolutely hated the drama with the security guard. Nothing like a bit of violence to spice up a stay!

The guestrooms at Under Oaks Guesthouse are fantastic! They have everything you need, like a laptop-friendly workspace and air conditioning. The private patio with views of the dam or vineyards is just amazing. It's so nice to relax and enjoy the scenery. The classic and elegant rooms are beautiful! They have a flat-screen satellite TV, a safe, and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. It's like a home away from home. The Vineyard Suites at Under Oaks offer great accommodation. The air-conditioned room has a flat-screen satellite TV, a safe, and a wardrobe. It's so cozy and comfortable. Every unit at Under Oaks has a private bathroom with a shower. It's so convenient to have your own bathroom. The en suite bathrooms have a shower and a hairdryer. It's nice to have everything you need in one place. The air-conditioned and spacious room I stayed in had a four-poster bed. It felt so luxurious and comfortable.
Personally, I would have preferred a bathtub in the bathroom. But that's just my opinion, some people might not mind.

Our wedding anniversary stay was mind-blowing! The room had a jaw-dropping view of a serene pond where adorable farm animals grazed and played. The breakfast choices were delish, and the staff were super friendly. The beautiful vineyard surroundings and picturesque farmhouse added to the luxurious experience. We loved the open cinema night, and having a swimming pool just outside our door was a bonus. Free wi-fi, on-site car park, electric kettle, air conditioning, flat-screen TV. The sun loungers and beach umbrellas by the outdoor swimming pool were perfect for relaxation. The 24-hour security ensured a safe and worry-free stay, and the no-smoking policy made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Absolutely no pets are allowed.

I recently stayed at Under Oaks in Paarl for a few nights and it was a truly wonderful experience. Surrounded by distant mountains, the lodge is nestled in beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Our room, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean, offered breathtaking views of well-kept vineyards and a delightful little dam with a miniature fountain. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was nutritious and delicious, and the king-size bed provided a super-comfortable sleep. The on-site wine tasting and sales, as well as the pizza restaurant, were fantastic additions. Sitting on the patio as the sun went down, watching the ducks and kingfishers, was an absolute pleasure.
Can just recommend this hotel.
